My name is Heather Lademann and I’m happy to be the office assistant at Bethel! I grew up in Saskatchewan and went to university in Lethbridge, graduating with a B.A. in psychology in 1991. My husband Tom and I moved to Edmonton when we were married in 1992.

We have been attending Bethel for 15 years and it’s amazing to see the changes that have been happening in this congregation. We are excited about the growth that Bethel has undergone, especially in children’s and youth ministry, and look forward, on behalf of our children, to the opportunities available for them. We have 2 girls – Christianna (11) and Rebecca(9), and also our latest addition, Tracy, our 3-year-old Golden Retriever.

I have been working at Bethel for 2-1/2 years and there are so many great things about being here – the staff is awesome, I get to exercise my creativity through Powerpoint and Mediashout, and most of all, I am daily surrounded and inspired by God’s people. The community here at Bethel has been a true blessing to me and my family.

My favorite food is chocolate (I think it should be declared a major food group). I don’t drink coffee (yes, it’s true). In my spare time, I sing in the contemporary choir and occasionally in the praise band here at Bethel. I also enjoy camping, reading, scrapbooking, reading scrapbooking magazines, walking the dog, and sitting by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and watching the snow fall outside.
