Orchestra
The orchestra plays for special festival services such as Thanksgiving and Easter. This is one of the highlights of many in our worshipping community. We have parts for brass, woodwind, and strings.
Instrumentalists and vocalists rotate on an eight-week basis for the 9:45 and 11:00 Contemporary Services.
Practices take place Thursday evenings.
There are places for

If you play an instrument or sing, we’ll find a way to get you involved. Contact Normay Wiebe at normay.wiebe@bethelchurch.com.
Instrumental Ensembles
Various instruments are used with our worship band on a rotating basis. As well as orchestra instruments, we have used celtic instruments such as tin whistle, bodhran, and accordion as well as bluegrass instruments such as banjo, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, and strumstick. If someone plays it, we’ll try to fit them in. We believe that if God provides the gift, He means for us to use it.
At Christmas time, we have small musical
ensembles playing in the entryway as people come into the services. The ensembles consist of woodwind quartets or recorders, or brass that plays arrangements of popular carols.
Organists, pianists, soloists
In the Blended Worship service, both the organ and piano are the instruments of choice. We have an outstanding, brand new electronic organ that is just begging to be played. Our grand piano is also new.
From time to time, we also feature soloists: trumpets, voice, stringed instruments and brass. If you want to share your musical gifts in the Blended Service, contact connie.bromley@bethelchurch.com
Youth Opportunities
We invite the youth to participate in the regular worship bands, choirs, orchestra and instrumental groups. As well, we have 2 youth bands that play for Sunday morning services – a junior youth band and a senior youth band.
