Welcome to BLESS Preschool classroom!
After large group, there are a number of centers to keep us busy and having fun each day. We put more than just water and sand in our tub. We’ve also had snow, ice cubes, play pellets, shredded paper, and much more. There is a different craft to do each day at the art center. There is an extra special craft on themed days. We can get our wiggles out at the movement center. The housekeeping corner has us using our imagination. We can cook and dress up. This area is also transformed into a carpentry center, camp site, restaurant, and what ever else we can come up with. There are lots of different play centers for us to choose from. The math center has activities to help us learn our numbers, patterns, shapes, measurement, spatial & time concepts, and money. We explore all kinds of neat concepts at the Science Table Our gym is HUGE! There is a lot of space for us to dance, have obstacle courses, bounce balls, and play games When it’s time for a quiet moment, we can look at a book or listen to a story at the library center.
Every morning, we meet for large group learning. We have devotion, say a prayer, learn our alphabet, numbers, days of the week, and read stories.
At the alphabet table, there are creative ways for us to practice the letter of the week. The four-year olds have journals to explore early writing
